This full-time, contract opportunity is designed for caring professionals who are passionate about school-based therapy and excited to support K–12 students in an in-person setting. Openings are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, with placement tailored to your background and interests.

Your ability to engage students, families, and colleagues—while maintaining a sense of humor and an enthusiastic approach—will be central to fostering positive outcomes and strong relationships throughout the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA with appropriate credentials)
  • Experience with assessment, evaluation, and consultation in educational settings
  • Commitment to providing dynamic support for students with varying needs
  • Knowledge of the special education process, disability categories, and effective identification methods
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Previous school experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultative and direct therapy services for students with speech and language needs
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for referred students
  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams to interpret results and develop IEPs
  • Communicate effectively with educators, families, and outside agencies
  • Support classroom staff in implementing language programs that boost academic and social success
  • Track and report developmental changes and progress
