Skilled Nursing Facility Speech & Language Pathology - Half Moon Bay, California

This full-time, contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students with moderate to severe needs in preschool, elementary, or middle school settings. Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential appropriate for California
• Previous experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to meet students’ unique needs
• Passion for helping every student reach their full potential

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities, in line with IEP goals
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and related service providers such as speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists
• Monitor student progress, documenting and reporting outcomes regularly
• Adapt lessons and teaching strategies for multiple learning styles
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate proactively with families to support student growth and success
