Qualifications:

  • Current California Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Demonstrated experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school environments
  • Comprehensive understanding of therapy practices for various speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Ability to effectively develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy to elementary and/or secondary students
  • Conduct assessments for new and continuing students, reporting findings thoughtfully
  • Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
  • Engage with families and multidisciplinary teams to support carryover of skills beyond the classroom
  • Participate in ESY-related meetings and contribute to a positive school experience
