Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active CA SLP License required
• School experience and familiarity with K–12 settings strongly preferred
• Background in assessment, evaluation, and consultation within special education frameworks
• Commitment to working with students with a variety of needs and their families
• Comprehensive knowledge of the special education process and disability categories; expertise in early learning or atypical impairments a plus
• Excellent interpersonal communication, including the ability to foster positive relationships and a joyful, supportive workspace
• Proficiency in planning and organizing all phases of special education identification and intervention

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult and advise school personnel regarding diagnosis and remediation for students
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech, language, and related developmental areas
• Serve as a core member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing insights for IEP planning and student support
• Foster open communication among families, staff, and agencies tracking student growth
• Deliver direct therapy and collaborate on effective language programming for children with speech and language impairments
