This contract position focuses on providing services within both elementary and middle school settings, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience across various age groups.

Assignment Details:

  • Training: September 1 (11:00 am – 3:00 pm)
  • Instructional Period: September 9 through the end of the school year
  • Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week (specific daily timing to be confirmed)

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state licensure as an SLP (no SLPA or virtual applicants, please)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), though strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric speech therapy, with a particular focus on school-based practice
  • Background in delivering both individual and group therapy interventions within elementary and/or middle school settings
  • Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing treatment plans targeting diverse communication needs
  • Skillful collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure student progress and compliance with IEP goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language assessments for students referred by school staff and families
  • Design and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP processes, contributing to student-centered planning
  • Educate staff and families about strategies to support student communication outside of the therapy setting

$2,490 - $2,678/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 38 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
