Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Kent, Washington

This position focuses on in-person support at two schools, offering the chance to make a direct impact in the lives of young learners from the start of the new school year through its conclusion.

Ideal candidates possess ASHA certification (CCC) or are completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and have a passion for pediatric communication development. Please note: this opportunity does not consider SLPA applicants or virtual providers.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY supervision
• Current Washington licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork

Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based therapy to address students’ speech, language, and communication goals
• Complete evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and participate in IEP processes
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress
• Offer in-services and consultative support as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with school and state guidelines
• Attend required trainings, including a paid introductory day on September 1

$2,490 - $2,678/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 38 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
