Step into an impactful speech-language pathology role supporting students near Kingston, TN. This full-time, contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week across two dynamic school settings—one elementary and one middle school—allowing you to foster communication growth at critical learning stages.

With a focus on pediatric therapy and educational environments, you’ll join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering comprehensive speech and language services. Those with experience in both in-person and VOCO (virtual/online) formats are encouraged to apply, as flexibility is valued for meeting student needs.

What we’re looking for:

  • Active Tennessee SLP license (TN SLP)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Background providing speech therapy services in pediatric and school-based environments
  • Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Demonstrated success supporting diverse learners at elementary and middle school levels
  • Comfortable working across two nearby schools
  • Openness to both onsite and, potentially, virtual/VOCO models

Your role will include:

  • Conducting evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Delivering direct and indirect therapy to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to maximize student progress
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Participating in school meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
