Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist in Liberal, KS

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (KS licensing preferred)
• Previous experience in K-12 settings highly valued
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver targeted speech-language interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals across learning environments
• Document progress, maintain accurate student records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services across a diverse student population
• Adapt interventions and strategies to meet students’ varying needs and goals
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students' communication needs within the school community
