Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Experience with pediatric or school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong understanding of therapy for speech, language, and communication needs
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with educators, families, and staff
- Skilled in creating and implementing effective IEPs for students
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech, language, and communication therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Evaluate students using standardized assessments and interpret results
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals for each student
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Consult with teachers and parents to suggest strategies that support student success
- Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to support student development and achievement
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that empowers students to reach their communication potential
