Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP licensure or eligibility in the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based speech therapy preferred
  • Strong understanding of therapy for speech, language, and communication needs
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with educators, families, and staff
  • Skilled in creating and implementing effective IEPs for students
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech, language, and communication therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Evaluate students using standardized assessments and interpret results
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals for each student
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Consult with teachers and parents to suggest strategies that support student success
  • Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to support student development and achievement
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that empowers students to reach their communication potential
