Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Illinois state licensure—or eligibility
  • Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations, particularly in an elementary setting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for fostering student growth and academic achievement

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy and assessments for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school community
