Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Montesano, WA

Make an immediate impact in the lives of young learners by providing speech and language support to students from PreK through 2nd grade, including those enrolled in a high-needs program. This contract opportunity offers the flexibility to work virtually with the support of an onsite SLPA, or onsite if preferred, at 37.5 hours per week. With a manageable caseload of approximately 80 students, you'll deliver essential services that shape communication skills and empower children during their formative years.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, with ASHA CCC certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience with pediatric populations, especially in educational settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
• Knowledge of therapy documentation and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, administration, and families
• Experience supporting high-needs or diverse student groups is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in PreK–2nd grade
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Provide direct speech-language intervention and consultative services, both virtually and in coordination with an onsite SLPA
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for therapy sessions and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and collaborate across disciplines to support student success
• Communicate and partner with educators and families to facilitate carryover of speech and language strategies
