Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Prior experience providing therapy in a school setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver therapy services in accordance with IEP goals, ensuring measurable progress for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support classroom integration and student success
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, sessions, and communications in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations and reports
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom and therapy environment
