This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives across five days each week in a school-based setting near Mount Juliet, TN.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license and appropriate state credentials
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or eligibility for either
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
- Skilled in a wide range of therapy techniques for supporting diverse student needs
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in alignment with their IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and provide comprehensive evaluations for students referred for speech and language services
- Develop treatment plans based on assessment results and monitor progress
- Document all therapy activity in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
