Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Napa, California

This contract opportunity near Napa, CA is tailor-made for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives on helping children overcome communication barriers and achieve their fullest potential.

Your day will run from 7:45am to 4:30pm, allowing you to work a consistent 7.75-hour schedule with a 30-minute duty-free lunch each day, totaling 38.75 hours weekly. You’ll find yourself collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team that prioritizes child-centered approaches and innovative therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain
• Strong background in pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
• Previous school-based experience highly desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for making a difference in young learners’ lives

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapy services for Pre-K through 5th grade students in a nurturing educational environment
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Attend team meetings, provide recommendations, and support students’ IEP processes
