This contract opportunity near Napa, CA is tailor-made for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives on helping children overcome communication barriers and achieve their fullest potential.
Your day will run from 7:45am to 4:30pm, allowing you to work a consistent 7.75-hour schedule with a 30-minute duty-free lunch each day, totaling 38.75 hours weekly. You’ll find yourself collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team that prioritizes child-centered approaches and innovative therapy techniques.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain
- Strong background in pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Previous school-based experience highly desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for making a difference in young learners’ lives
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy services for Pre-K through 5th grade students in a nurturing educational environment
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Attend team meetings, provide recommendations, and support students’ IEP processes
