Make a significant difference in the lives of students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract position is available near Oak Lawn, IL, and offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated group of educators and support staff in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid Illinois SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; new graduates/Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in a school-based SLP role is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population
  • Conduct student evaluations and assessments in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation for assessments, treatment, and progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to support school-wide initiatives
