This full-time, onsite contract position is available near Oak Lawn, IL, and offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated group of educators and support staff in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Illinois SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; new graduates/Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in a school-based SLP role is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for assessments, treatment, and progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to support school-wide initiatives
