This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week across two vibrant schools—one elementary and one middle—serving a diverse student population. With openness to both onsite and VOCO (virtual/remote) candidates, you can flexibly deliver impactful therapy where you’re most effective.

Ideal candidates possess experience and licensure in speech-language pathology, bringing a passion for helping young learners overcome barriers to communication. Whether you’re a seasoned SLP-CCC, exploring your CFY, or bringing pediatric school-based expertise, your skills will directly enrich students’ educational journeys.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Tennessee SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • CCC-SLP credential, or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Background in pediatric and/or school-based SLP practice
  • Experience with a range of speech, language, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Comfort with technology and online therapy platforms (for VOCO applicants)
  • Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, families, and school teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-8 students
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document progress, communicate with families and staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support inclusive educational environments and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt interventions for in-person or virtual delivery as assigned
