Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
- Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborative spirit to partner with educators and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students ranging from preschool to high school
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and write progress reports
- Support students' communication needs in both group and individual therapy settings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to generalize skills across academic environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and multidisciplinary team planning
- Maintain compliance with all state, local, and professional SLP standards
