Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborative spirit to partner with educators and families
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students ranging from preschool to high school
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and write progress reports
  • Support students' communication needs in both group and individual therapy settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to generalize skills across academic environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and multidisciplinary team planning
  • Maintain compliance with all state, local, and professional SLP standards
