Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist - Pittsburg, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where you’ll support young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving children in Pre-K through 5th grade. Multiple positions are available for qualified California-licensed SLPs—whether you bring your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), are working through your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or have expertise in pediatric or school settings. This in-person position starts August 10, offering a chance to make lasting connections with students and colleagues alike.

What we’re looking for:

• Hold a California SLP license (CCC or CFY welcome)
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and elementary populations
• Background in school-based, healthcare, or skilled therapy settings
• Ability to work exclusively in-person (no remote or teletherapy options)
• Supportive, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• Commitment to fostering positive growth for students at various developmental levels

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to students PK–5th grade
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of student progress
• Attend meetings and participate in professional development as required
• Adhere to daily schedule: 7.75-hour workday with a 30-minute duty-free lunch, Monday–Friday (totaling 38.75 hours per week; holidays unpaid)
