Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY applicants will be considered
  • Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
  • Familiarity with IEP process and individualized student planning
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators, families, and other therapists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy according to student IEPs
  • Administer assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluation and IEP writing
  • Develop and implement therapy sessions targeting a range of communication delays and disorders
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and communicate results to staff and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
  • Participate in team meetings, in-services, and ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices
