Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY applicants will be considered
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP process and individualized student planning
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators, families, and other therapists
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy according to student IEPs
- Administer assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluation and IEP writing
- Develop and implement therapy sessions targeting a range of communication delays and disorders
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and communicate results to staff and families
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in team meetings, in-services, and ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices
