This is an exciting opportunity for four Full-Time Special Education Teachers, each supporting students with moderate to severe needs in either Preschool, Elementary, or Middle School settings. Positions are offered on a contract basis and are conveniently located near Redwood City, CA.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active state Special Education teaching credential (or eligibility for credentialing)
  • Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities (preschool, elementary, or middle school levels)
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Familiarity with a range of instructional strategies and behavioral supports
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered practices

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead a classroom for a specific caseload (Preschool, Elementary, or Middle School)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
  • Create engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s needs
  • Document student progress and adapt strategies for optimal outcomes
  • Maintain a supportive, safe, and positive classroom environment
