Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Renton, WA

As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll work directly with children at both elementary and middle school levels. This assignment begins with a training day and runs from early September through the end of the school year, offering a consistent Monday to Friday schedule for 37.5 hours per week. Only candidates credentialed as SLPs–not assistants or virtual providers–will be considered.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
• Valid SLP license for Washington State
• CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
• Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience highly valued
• Strong background in assessment, planning, and intervention
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services in both pull-out and classroom settings
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress
• Provide resources and support to teachers and caregivers

$2,490 - $2,678/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 38 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
