Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous K-12 school experience preferred, though not required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication skills
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions—both individual and group—addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication
  • Consult with teachers, families, and educational staff to support student progress and provide resources or coaching as needed
  • Maintain clear documentation, progress notes, and compliance with all reporting requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal-setting, and advocate for students’ speech and language needs
  • Stay current with best practices and professional development in the field of speech-language pathology
