Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active California SLP License required
  • CCC or CFY credentialed; school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise with pediatric populations, teletherapy, or SLPA experience a plus
  • Solid training in assessment, evaluation, and consultation within special education
  • Strong relationship-building skills with students, families, and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate creativity and positivity into everyday interactions
  • Deep knowledge of special education processes, procedures, and disability categories

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy for K-12 students
  • Conduct screenings, diagnostic assessments, and participate as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary IEP team
  • Offer consultative and advisory services, sharing insights with teachers and staff
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families and community partners, monitoring student development and recommending supports
  • Assist educators in developing classroom language programs tailored for diverse learners
