Step into a dynamic and rewarding opportunity as a part-time speech-language pathologist supporting students in a collaborative educational setting near Saline, Michigan. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in empowering K–12 students (caseload of 48) to unlock their communication potential and thrive academically and socially.

You will enjoy a consistent weekday schedule from 7:40 AM to 3:00 PM, giving you time to make meaningful connections with each student and maximize the impact of your expertise. Working closely with educators and families, you'll deliver therapy sessions, support IEP development, and facilitate breakthroughs in speech and language.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Michigan SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Experience in a school-based or teletherapy setting.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and their implementation.
  • Experience with K–12 student populations, addressing a variety of communication needs.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Positive, collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to a diverse K–12 student caseload, focusing on evidence-based interventions.
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans, including the use of AAC devices when necessary.
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring to support student IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student growth and participation.
  • Maintain accurate records, session notes, and required documentation.
