Four Special Education Teaching positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year, with full-time contract roles serving a dedicated community near San Mateo, CA, in the Half Moon Bay area. Each assignment offers involvement with moderate to severe caseloads at different grade levels, allowing you to utilize your skills and create meaningful educational experiences.

Open Caseloads:

  • Preschool—Moderate to Severe
  • Elementary (2 positions)—Moderate to Severe
  • Middle School—Moderate to Severe

Ideal candidates have a background in special education, coupled with a deep commitment to fostering growth and independence in students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching credential (applicable to California requirements)
  • Experience with moderate to severe caseloads in a school setting preferred
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction aligned to student IEP goals
  • Create and maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, specialists, and families
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
