Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in San Mateo, CA

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity near San Mateo, CA, focuses on providing valuable therapy services to an early childhood population. As a bilingual Spanish-speaking SLP, your expertise will help shape young learners’ communication skills and set them on a path to lifelong success.

What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current California licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required)
• Strong understanding of therapy approaches for preschool-aged children
• Effective communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Dedication to supporting diverse students’ needs and helping them achieve their potential

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for preschool students with varied speech and language needs
• Delivering direct and indirect speech-language therapy individually and in groups
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress and engagement
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Providing guidance and support to staff and families regarding communication strategies
• Fostering a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where bilingual students thrive
