Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing skilled speech-language pathology services in a welcoming K-6 educational setting near Seneca Falls, NY. This full-time role supports a caseload of 25-30 students ages 5-12 within a nurturing and collaborative school community. Your workdays will run from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 36.25 hours weekly. The position is well-suited for both experienced clinicians and clinical fellows—excellent guidance and mentorship are available for those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year.

Your expertise will help students develop essential communication skills, contribute toward their academic growth, and collaborate with educators and families in a positive environment.

Ideal candidates bring:

  • Active or eligible NY state licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY encouraged)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred, though new graduates are welcome
  • Strong commitment to fostering communication, language, and social development among diverse K-6 students
  • Effective collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and other school professionals
  • Proficiency in progress monitoring, IEP documentation, and development of individualized interventions

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct speech-language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Assessing and identifying students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Designing and implementing targeted intervention plans and IEPs
  • Engaging with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate student support services
  • Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
