Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners in a vibrant K-6 environment near Skaneateles, NY. This full-time role (36.25 hours per week) is perfect for both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows excited to make a difference in the lives of children ages 5 to 12. Daily hours run from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing both structure and work-life balance.

You’ll be providing expertise to a manageable caseload of 25-30 students within a supportive school setting, collaborating closely with educators and families to deliver impactful therapy services. The team values open communication and offers strong professional support to help you succeed, whether you’re already certified or beginning your Clinical Fellowship Year.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active NY SLP license or eligibility
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing CFY
  • School-based therapy experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and student growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and therapy sessions for K-6 students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain precise documentation of progress and communicate results to stakeholders
  • Provide consultative services and resources to teachers and families
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
