Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois SLP license required
- CCC-SLP accreditation from ASHA preferred; new Clinical Fellows are also welcome to apply
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred or eligibility for one
- Experience with the school-based population highly desired
- Skilled in evaluation, IEP development, and delivering individualized interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, interpreting results for educational teams
- Develop and update IEPs in compliance with state and district policies
- Partner closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Accurately document services, progress, and communication in accordance with guidelines
- Offer professional guidance and education to staff and families regarding communication needs
