Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist in Tecumseh, MI

Your expertise will help students enhance their communication skills, both in-person and through teletherapy platforms. This position works across traditional and assistive modalities, so experience with AAC devices is essential. Required Qualifications:

• Active Michigan SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
• Background in school-based therapy or teletherapy
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AAC devices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and service teams
• Strong organizational skills in managing a caseload of students across K–12

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services—individually and in groups
• Utilize and program AAC technology for eligible students
• Evaluate students’ language, articulation, and communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals, progress reports, and documentation
• Consult with teachers and family members to support student development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
