Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a part-time speech-language pathologist. This role serves a K–12 population with a caseload of 48 students, offering you the chance to make a direct and meaningful impact. Working hours run from 7:40 AM to 3:00 PM, allowing for balance alongside your professional commitments.

Your expertise will help students enhance their communication skills, both in-person and through teletherapy platforms. This position works across traditional and assistive modalities, so experience with AAC devices is essential. Your work will help shape academic and personal success for students at all ability levels.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
  • Background in school-based therapy or teletherapy
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AAC devices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and service teams
  • Strong organizational skills in managing a caseload of students across K–12

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services—individually and in groups
  • Utilize and program AAC technology for eligible students
  • Evaluate students’ language, articulation, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals, progress reports, and documentation
  • Consult with teachers and family members to support student development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
