Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Temperance, Michigan

Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech and language services to a diverse K-12 student caseload. This part-time opportunity allows you to build impactful connections with approximately 48 students, supporting their communication growth and success using your expertise and commitment. The schedule runs from 7:40 am to 3:00 pm, providing structured hours within the school day.

Ideal candidates feel confident delivering therapy on-site and via teletherapy formats, equipped with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices is highly desired, enabling support for students with a range of expressive communication needs.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Active, valid SLP licensure for Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience in a school-based setting serving K-12 students
• Skilled in direct, consultative, and teletherapy-based speech-language interventions
• Proficiency with AAC devices—both evaluation and implementation
• Collaborative, flexible, and reliable communication style
• Strong documentation habits and experience with IEP processes

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for assigned students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Integrate AAC solutions and support student use in and out of sessions
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
• Engage in collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
• Accurately schedule and manage caseload needs within assigned hours
