Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time contract position at a school in Temperance, MI. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of K-12 students, providing speech therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy. The ideal candidate will have experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of 48 students across grades K-12
  • Utilize AAC devices to support students with complex communication needs
  • Deliver therapy services in-person and through teletherapy platforms as required
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in a school setting with K-12 students
  • Proficiency with AAC devices and teletherapy methods
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule and Location:

  • Part-time contract position
  • Hours: 7:40 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Location: Temperance, MI school setting
