Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Troy, New York

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates will be considered
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly beneficial
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapy methods to the needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports for compliance purposes
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and legal requirements in school-based SLP services
