Ideal candidates bring a background in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology, holding active SLP licensure (Clinical Fellowship Year, CCC, healthcare, or school settings). Experience designing and implementing therapeutic interventions with enthusiasm for fostering developmental growth is highly valued.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in California
- SLP-CCC or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
- Demonstrated pediatric or school-based SLP experience
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of IEP development and participation
- Ability to manage caseloads independently and efficiently
- Candidates must be credentialed SLPs; no additional SLP Assistants (SLPA) can be considered
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to PK-5th grade students
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, write IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide direct therapy during a 7.75-hour school day, with a 30-minute duty-free lunch, from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm
- Actively participate in team meetings and professional development as required
- Maintain timely, organized documentation and student records
Schedule & Details:
- Contract position, 38.75 hours per week with holidays unpaid
