Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Background in therapy for pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Experience or interest in working with PK-5th grade students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Must be available for full-time, on-site work—remote options and SLPAs will not be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to PK-5th grade students in a school environment
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to develop effective interventions
- Maintain detailed and timely records in compliance with district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide progress monitoring, adjust interventions, and communicate student growth
Details & Schedule:
- In-person position—no remote or SLPA assignments
- School year begins August 10th
- Full-time: 38.75 hours weekly; days run 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (includes a 30-minute duty-free lunch)
