Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist in Vacaville, CA

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Vacaville, CA. Multiple contract positions are available for CA-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who enjoy working in-person with young learners. Help shape positive educational experiences for children from Pre-K through 5th grade as they develop essential communication skills.

We're seeking professionals with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school setting. New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) as well as experienced SLPs (CCC) are welcome to apply. This is an in-person only role, and SLPAs are not being considered at this time.

What you'll need:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license
• Credentials or eligibility at the SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY level
• Recent experience with pediatric populations, especially school-aged children
• Familiarity with therapy best practices, IEP development, and effective collaboration with educators and families
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to working in-person; remote work is not available

Your responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for PK-5th grade students
• Develop and implement individualized plans
• Conduct screenings and assessments
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor student progress
• Maintain clear documentation and uphold compliance with district and state guidelines

Position details:

• 10 contract positions available
• Monday to Friday schedule, 7:45am-4:30pm
• 7.75 working hours per day with a 30-minute duty-free lunch
• 38.75 hours per week; holidays unpaid
• In-person service delivery required
• School year begins August 10
