Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • California licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience delivering therapy in educational or pediatric settings
  • Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs
  • Proficient in providing both individual and group sessions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassion for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech and language disorders
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress and participate in evaluation meetings
  • Deliver evidence-based intervention targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, or social pragmatic skills
  • Educate and provide resources to families and staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely records as required by school and state guidelines
