Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language services within school, healthcare, or clinical settings
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and organizational abilities
  • Passion for working with diverse learners from PK to 5th grade
  • Please note: Not open to SLP Assistants (SLPA) candidates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in PK-5 students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Deliver therapy targeting articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain thorough records and regular progress notes
  • Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based therapy

Role Details:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:45am-4:30pm with a 30-minute duty-free lunch
  • Full 7.75-hour days, totaling 38.75 hours weekly (unpaid holidays)
