Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language services within school, healthcare, or clinical settings
- Outstanding interpersonal communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with diverse learners from PK to 5th grade
- Please note: Not open to SLP Assistants (SLPA) candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in PK-5 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Deliver therapy targeting articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain thorough records and regular progress notes
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based therapy
Role Details:
- Monday through Friday, 7:45am-4:30pm with a 30-minute duty-free lunch
- Full 7.75-hour days, totaling 38.75 hours weekly (unpaid holidays)
