This assignment follows a steady schedule of 7.75-hour days—with a 30-minute, duty-free lunch—running from 7:45am to 4:30pm. You'll enjoy a predictable workweek totaling 38.75 hours, allowing you to build meaningful connections and provide consistent, high-quality therapy. Please note, holidays are unpaid. This role is exclusively for licensed SLPs; applications from SLPAs cannot be accommodated at this time.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (CFY or CCC accepted)
  • School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
  • Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Familiarity with diverse communication needs and cultural backgrounds of elementary learners
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and work in a multidisciplinary school team

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and direct therapy for PK–5th grade students
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings to provide input and progress updates
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
  • Offer strategies and support in both individual and group settings
