Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist in Vallejo, CA

This rewarding contract opportunity is available for experienced and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists with California licensure, eager to support preschool through fifth-grade students. With ten openings, this in-person role presents a chance to collaborate with a dynamic school community and a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
• Background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school settings
• Experience supporting PK-5th grade populations
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Please note: SLPAs are not being considered for this position

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students, including assessments, interventions, and consultations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for IEP meetings and progress tracking
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams to support student success
• Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and staff meetings as required
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and provide recommendations

Position Details:

• Full-time contract; 7.75-hour workdays (7:45am-4:30pm) with a 30-minute duty-free lunch
• 38.75 hours per week, with holidays unpaid
• In-person services only; no teletherapy options
• Start date: August 10
