Step into a fulfilling role supporting students’ communication and learning as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational environment. This contract opportunity covers two schools—one elementary and one middle—near Wartburg, TN, offering exposure to a wide age range and collaborative teams. Candidates will work 37.5 hours per week, making a measurable difference in a supportive, student-focused setting. Open to both onsite and VOCO (remote) professionals, including CCCs and strong CFY applicants.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Tennessee SLP credential (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or strong clinical background accepted
  • Pediatric and/or school-based speech-language pathology experience preferred
  • Skilled in evaluations, IEP development, and progress documentation
  • Confident collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
  • Clear, compassionate written and verbal communication

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students in elementary and middle school settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy (onsite or virtually if approved)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ success in the academic environment
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support initiatives
