Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Experience providing therapy services in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing students’ needs
  • Provide direct intervention services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student progress
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for all services and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
  • Educate families and staff about communication strategies and tools
