Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state license (or eligibility) as an SLP in Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Prior experience delivering speech and language therapy in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Solid grasp of IEP processes and evidence-based therapy methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in various settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development sessions
