Step into a rewarding role providing expert speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students in a supportive K-6 educational environment near Waterloo, NY. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists or passionate Clinical Fellows eager to make a difference for children ages 5 to 12. Enjoy consistent, weekday hours from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, working with a manageable caseload of 25–30 students.

Bring your skills in SLP (Skilled, CCC, CFY, or School) to positively impact student success. A welcoming atmosphere and a dedicated team are ready to offer great support as you guide children toward improved communication and confidence.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) status welcomed
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to identify speech, language, or communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans appropriate for K-6 students
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to advance student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational team goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services as needed
