We are seeking SLPs who are enthusiastic about supporting children and young adults across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Assignments may be tailored to your expertise and preference, with openings ranging from specific age groups to K–12 caseloads.

Working closely with the Director of Special Education, you’ll engage with a collaborative team, providing essential services that help students reach their full communication potential. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday, for the full academic year.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • An active CA SLP License (CFY and CCC applicants considered)
  • Experience or coursework in pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy
  • Strong knowledge of school-based and healthcare SLP practice
  • Commitment to students with special education needs and their families
  • Skills in assessment, evaluation, and consultation
  • A lighthearted, compassionate approach with the ability to foster positive relationships
  • Familiarity with special education processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and collaborative problem-solving abilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing consultative services and diagnostic support to school staff within the district
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education
  • Participating as a valued member of multi-disciplinary teams for IEP processes
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with families, staff, and community health partners
  • Helping students with speech and language impairments achieve their academic and social potential
  • Assisting with the development of language programs for both classroom and community settings
