Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Aberdeen, WA

This onsite position offers the chance to serve a diverse group of approximately 80 students from PreK through 2nd grade, including those in a high-needs program, within an outstanding educational community. Collaborate closely with a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist, ensuring students receive the highest level of support and care.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active SLPA license or certification, and eligibility to work in a school setting
• Proven experience working in school or healthcare environments as an SLPA
• Strong background supporting young children, especially those with special needs and high-needs populations
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, especially in a team that includes virtual supervision
• Ability to deliver therapy plans and interventions as designed by supervising SLP
• Dedicated, empathetic, and committed to fostering student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite direct therapy services to students, implementing plans provided by the virtual SLP
• Support communication development in students with a range of disorders and abilities
• Accurately document session data and student progress for review by the SLP
• Collaborate with teaching staff and parents, facilitating seamless support across settings
• Participate in ongoing professional development as needed
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations governing speech therapy
