Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year! In this full-time, in-person position, you’ll deliver intervention services to PreK–12th grade students across multiple locations, collaborating closely with a supervising Speech Language Pathologist to make a true difference in the lives of children with speech-language disorders.

Highlights of the Role:

  • Contract position running from August 13th to May 21st
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Itinerant assignment, requiring flexibility as locations may change based on student needs
  • Starting compensation at $33 per hour, commensurate with your credentials and experience

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing or Communication Disorders
  • Experience in language and/or articulation therapy preferred
  • Previous school-based or paraprofessional experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and effective two-way dialogue
  • Capacity to collaborate cheerfully with colleagues, students, and families
  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn new strategies and techniques

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out therapy programs crafted by the supervising SLP to help students develop critical speech skills
  • Assist with assessments—including scoring and observation—as directed
  • Support documentation, including IEPs, evaluations, and progress updates
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and providers to share information and support student progress
  • Help prepare students for therapy sessions and transport them as needed
