Make a positive impact on students’ communication skills as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. You’ll play an integral role in delivering intervention services and assisting licensed SLPs to support PreK-12 students with diverse speech-language needs. This full-time, in-person contract position spans multiple locations, following a Monday–Friday schedule from August 13th to May 21st.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech, Language and Hearing or Communication Disorders
  • Experience as a paraprofessional or in an educational setting (preferred)
  • Background in language and/or articulation therapy (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate collaboratively and positively
  • Motivation to learn and implement innovative therapy strategies and techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Speech Language Pathologist in designing and implementing intervention programs to enhance students’ speech skills
  • Gather case histories, observe students, and assist in administering or scoring assessments under supervision
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, therapists, and external professionals by providing relevant information and support
  • Participate in meetings such as IEPs, parent conferences, and in-service sessions to communicate students’ progress and goals
  • Prepare accurate documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and observations
  • Transport students to and from therapy or assessment sessions as needed
  • Take on additional related duties as assigned
