Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Elma, WA

Make a direct impact in a school-based setting by providing dedicated support to young learners as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Located near Elma, WA, this contract position requires a skilled professional comfortable delivering therapy to PreK through 2nd-grade students, as well as those in the district’s high-needs program. As an SLPA, you'll work 6 hours onsite each day and collaborate with a virtual SLP to help manage a caseload of approximately 80 students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid SLPA licensure/certification required
• Experience in both school and healthcare therapy settings preferred
• Comfort working with a diverse caseload, including students with complex needs
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with a remote supervising SLP
• Commitment to supporting students’ individualized goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the supervising SLP to implement therapy strategies
• Document student progress and maintain organized records to support ongoing assessments
• Adapt materials and activities for students with a range of needs, especially within the high-needs program
• Participate in team meetings, share observations, and adjust services as directed
