Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a closely related field
- Active SLPA license required
- Proven ability to provide quality services in school or healthcare settings
- Experience working with PreK–5th grade students preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assess speech and language skills to help identify each student’s needs
- Create and implement customized treatment strategies based on individual education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services in collaboration with supervising SLPs
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Manage a caseload averaging 50 students, sustaining engagement and positive outcomes
