Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting pre-k to 5th grade students in a vibrant school setting near Exeter, CA for the 2025-2026 academic year. This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants looking to provide quality care to children in a collaborative educational environment. The assignment runs from August 6, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with full-time hours—40 per week—and varying start times based on campus (beginning between 7:30 and 7:45am for an 8-hour day).

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a closely related field
  • Active and current SLPA license
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLPA roles preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload averaging 50 students across diverse speech and language needs
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language screenings and assist with formal assessments
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct SLPA services in accordance with IEP goals and within school guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
