Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Hanford, CA

Make a difference by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity, beginning August 6, 2025, and ending June 5, 2026, offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. With a typical day starting between 7:30 and 7:45 AM and spanning eight hours, you’ll work with a caseload averaging 50 students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade in an on-site setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related area
• Active SLPA License required
• Experience in either school-based or healthcare therapy settings preferred
• Comfortable working with students in PreK–5th grade
• Ability to work onsite (not open to teletherapy)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to determine students’ needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP guidelines
• Deliver direct SLPA services and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student development
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
