We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Manassas, Virginia, for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students across a K–12 setting while supporting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in helping students achieve their communication goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Implement treatment plans and therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
  • Assist with therapy preparation, materials, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success.
  • Participate in team meetings and follow district and state guidelines for SLPA practice.

Qualifications

  • Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license or eligibility, as required by state regulations.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field, as applicable.
  • School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
