Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Montesano, WA

Step into a meaningful contract position serving an elementary student population as a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This onsite role is based near Montesano, WA, providing dedicated support for approximately 80 students in PreK through 2nd grade, including those within a high-needs program. Collaborate closely with a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), helping to deliver impactful therapy services that make a lasting difference.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in school, healthcare, or therapy settings strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with speech and language interventions for young learners.
• Skilled in supporting students with diverse needs, including those requiring intensive services.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervising SLPs, faculty, and families.
• Organized and proactive in managing session schedules, documentation, and materials.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, onsite speech-language therapy to a caseload of around 80 PreK–2nd grade students.
• Assist with implementing therapy plans developed by the supervising virtual SLP.
• Support students in both general and high-needs programs, adjusting strategies to meet individual goals.
• Prepare therapy materials and assist in progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate in IEP process, including documenting student progress.
• Engage in professional communication with teachers, staff, and families.
