Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathology Assistant | Porterville, California

Embark on an impactful contract opportunity supporting students in the PreK–5th grade range for the 2025–2026 school year. This role offers a chance to make a difference across a diverse caseload, working collaboratively within a school environment to enhance communication skills. With a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule starting in early August, you'll play a key part for the academic year.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a closely related field
• Active SLPA license required
• Experience in both healthcare and educational settings as an SLPA is highly valued
• Competent in conducting assessments and implementing treatment plans for PreK–5th grade students
• Familiarity with IEP-driven service delivery
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexible start times based on site (between 7:30 - 7:45am), 8-hour workdays
• Willingness and capacity to manage an average caseload of 50 students
• In-person service delivery; teletherapy is not available for this role

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform speech and language assessments to determine student needs
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
• Deliver high-quality SLPA services, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain clear, compliant documentation and collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
• Support students in reaching their academic and communication goals
