Step into a rewarding position supporting students in their communication and academic journey for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking to make a difference with a school-aged population, working with students from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. The assignment spans from August 6, 2025, through June 5, 2026, providing a stable, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Daily start times range between 7:30 and 7:45 AM, aligned with your assigned site, covering an eight-hour workday.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
  • Current, active SLPA license
  • Previous experience in school-based or healthcare therapy settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to manage an average caseload of 50 PreK-5th grade students
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language screenings and assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services in compliance with IEP guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student success
