We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Rumford, Maine, for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an SLPA who enjoys working with students and supporting their communication development in a collaborative educational setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Implement treatment plans and therapy activities designed to support students' communication goals.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling and organization.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success.
- Follow district policies and applicable state regulations regarding SLPA practice.
Qualifications
- Current Maine Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license or eligibility, as required by state regulations.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.
- School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
