We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Rumford, Maine, for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Implement treatment plans and therapy activities designed to support students' communication goals.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
• Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling and organization.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success.
• Follow district policies and applicable state regulations regarding SLPA practice.

Qualifications

• Current Maine Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license or eligibility, as required by state regulations.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.
• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
