A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available supporting elementary students from Pre-K through 5th grade in an educational setting located in Tulare, CA. This contract role runs for the 2025-2026 school year, from August 6, 2025, to June 5, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Deliver SLPA services in compliance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to support student progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Active SLPA license required
- Prior experience serving a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students
- Familiarity with pediatric populations, specifically Pre-K to 5th grade
- Ability to work an 8-hour day, Monday through Friday, with start times between 7:30 and 7:45 AM
- Commitment to in-person service delivery; teletherapy not available for this role
